npo impact on neighborhood

What your NPO really does..

Your neighborhood Police Officer (NPO) is assigned to your specific neighborhood area, NPD9

NPOs have a very unique impact on the neighborhood.  The quality of life in a neighborhood is dependent on the working relationship between the residents, businesses and the NPO.

The NPOs are not required to answer normal calls for service.  They focus on crime resolution and prevention within their area.  The NPO addresses crime on a focused basis, identifies problems before they escalate and works with the Citizens on Patrol who are the extended eyes and ears of the NPO.  Your NPO becomes accutely aware of situations and behaviors that many in the neighborhood never notice.

Contrary to what is heard from some neighbors, your NPO is not your personal Police Officer.  He works varied hours to catch criminals and reduce crime.

Next time you wonder who is watching the neighborhood, ask yourself "What am I doing for my neighborhood?"

"Meet your NPD9 NPO" is coming soon.

Cheers: To Fort Worth police officer Kiser for assisting my wife by changing a flat tire alongside Interstate 30 near the University Drive exit. Your attitude, professionalism and quickness made the experience almost pleasurable and swiftly removed her from a dangerous situation. You represent Fort Worth's finest.
